Parkour

Bicycle Motor Cross is a mountain bike, it is very popular in Euro, Bicycle Motor Cross launched in 1960 in the US and arrived in Vietnam from about 6 years ago, Bicycle Motor Cross has attracted the young participants.

Bicycle Motor Cross is divided into two main types of Bicycle Motor Cross Racing (playing on complex terrain such as rock climbing, sand, wood) and Bicycle Motor Cross Free Style (performance skills). Vietnam youth prefers more types of Free Style.
BMX (Bicycle Motor Cross)

Bicycle Motor Cross requires players to have the ability to keep a good balance, good stamina, patience and a high tolerance. Since you have to practice simple movements such as lifting the car really smoothly until 360 degrees or roll your body in the sky


Skate Board (art  skateboarding) 

Skate Board derived from surfing in America in 1950 and arrived in Vietnam in 2000. So far Skate Board has become a popular sport with young, active people who like a challenge.

There are two main forms of Skateboard sport: "Game of Skate" (play 1-1) and "Street" (training and street performers). It takes a while for you to get used to the plank, balancing on it and then moving through the technical movements more difficult.

In my experiences to stand on a pair of Rollerblades, you should not start sitting on occupations or something similar, because starting like that is too easy to get up and not always you will find a chair or seat outside the park.

Go to the park or sidewalk where you can stick your hands on the wall or fence, find a place with the best smooth background to protect your buns skating better. Sit down and go on the roller shoes, make sure your Rollerblades fit your feet and tie it on because it's very important.

There was a time in my life, a few years back, when I was so out of control with food, I didn't know what in the world to do.

I remember, after an evening's binge, hoisting myself off the couch (it's not easy to lift your body up with 215 pounds on it), and stumbling into the bathroom, looking at my beefy face in the mirror, and sobbing, "Why? Why can't I stop? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I AM OUT OF CONTROL! HELP ME!"

Then crawling to bed, sick and fuzzy and in a thick, overstuffed stupor (I call it a food coma), falling asleep on a pillow soggy with tears, and waking the next morning, afraid, afraid to look at my repulsive body in the bathtub, afraid my clothes won't fit when I get dressed, afraid my pantyhose will roll right off me in public (it almost happened), afraid I'll run into someone I know on my way to work, someone who knew me when I was smaller, afraid this could go on for the rest of my life.
I wanted to run far away from them, from being in public. There I was displaying my gluttony, right there for everyone to see! It was as if I had a flashing sign around my neck, "Miss Piggy. Binges Every Night. Can't Control Herself. Bad Person. Worthless."

I HATED the way I looked. I was so embarrassed to go out. I remember, every time I went to the grocery store, furtively looking around to make sure that nobody I knew was around. If I did see someone who had known me "before," I was even prepared to leave my shopping cart and run out the door and drive home, that is how ashamed of myself I was.

And Mom, who is very, very small, was secretly disapproving of my new big size. I think for her it meant I was a failure and a slovenly pig. She would send me magazine articles on diets and exercise, until I told her that it just hurt me too much to receive that advice, and to please stop. I know she meant well, and did it out of love for me.

She couldn't help herself, though, because every once in a while she would send me a little snippet on how one woman mastered her tendency to gain weight by lifting weights three times a week and getting on the StairMaster five times a week.

"That's great for her," I'd think to myself, "but I bet she doesn't come home and have an unstoppable compulsion to scarf down every piece of junk food she can lay her hands on either."
And that was the problem: I couldn't stop eating. I simply didn't know what to do to get a handle on it. I was out of control with food.

It didn't help me either to read little tips in the magazines like "Leave something on your plate at every meal," or "Walk 20 minutes four times a week and lose five pounds a month"
That sure wasn't going to work if I didn't even have down the basic, No. 1, gotta-handle-this-monster - how do I stop taking that first bite of a binge when I don't have any self-control?
I've talked to a lot of overweight people, and I have learned that what matters most in being successful with not giving in to overeating is:

Number one, having a way to deaden or lessen the intensity of food cravings (that is why people on amphetamines, though they are probably suffering from being on a yechy mind-altering drug, can lose weight); and
Number two, a predictable mental response to cravings set up ahead of time, so they can be dealt with successfully as they come up.

Because cravings are going to come up. You MUST have predictable ways to deal with them, each and every time they do.

And - and this is so important - if handled correctly in the first few crucial days, you will be THRILLED to know that those out-of-control cravings will soon leave you for good, if you do not give in to them at all.

If you're always thinking about and craving food, it becomes so easy just to put an end to the agony of temptation, and give in again, no matter how good your intentions are when you start.
But people can lose weight easily if they have that - or can call forth at any time - "Oh, no, thanks, I'm just not hungry" feeling.

Now to the meat of this article: How to GET that "just not hungry" feeling.

I'll have to be brief, but some things I discovered that really, really helped quell the binge monster:

1) Aromatherapy

2) A CD I played all night long that made me feel an astonishing detachment from food the next day

3) A mental "talk to myself" script that let me walk past tempting foods

I'm going to briefly cover each one here.

1. Aromatherapy. It's simple. Use peppermint or orange or banana essential oil fragrances at regular intervals throughout the day to prevent overeating. The exciting thing is: whenever I use it, IT WORKS. I ALWAYS turn away from food, or eat less than I would have.

2. To develop a "take it or leave it" attitude towards food, play a subliminal message audio CD (the only sound you hear is, say, sounds of nature or the ocean, but there are hidden messages underneath that "white noise") all night long (set your player on "Repeat."). Yields amazing benefits.

3. A mental "talk-to-yourself" type script that allows you to face each temptation as it comes up. And that is all dieting is about, is getting past one temptation at a time (gets easier each time, I promise). Your "script" can be a simple one, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels," or something more complex and emotion-evoking: "I know if I eat this, I'll feel awful about myself, my self-confidence will be destroyed, I'll go to bed tonight feeling fat and wondering what's wrong with me. So I choose not to eat this so I can feel really good about myself and get into those size 9 pants."
So those are the simple tricks I used to get a handle on binge eating. So far I've lost 45 pounds and still losing. I don't miss binging. And I love having clothes that swim around my waist!

The original SIMS wheels were a must-have for any old-school skater. Unfortunately due to some reason or another, I’ve heard many different stories over the years, SIMS wheels were discontinued. Magic look sluggish early in season


The Orlando Magic have gotten off to a 2-2 start after their close win against the Bulls last night. They beat the Bulls 96-93 behind Dwight Howard’s 22 pt/15 rb and five others scoring in double digits. Howard has stated that he intends to get a double double in every game this season, an achievable yet somewhat lofty goal, and has backed up that statement thus far. 

The Magic are going through a small transition after losing Keyon Dooling to the Nets in free-agency and are giving JJ Reddick his shot to prove himself in the aftermath. Reddick has no more excuses and needs to perform better than he’s shown, two points on free throws and no field goals in four games. Courtney Lee got his first action last night and looked like a rookie is supposed to. He should develop this year off the bench and there isn’t too much pressure being put on him to make any impact. 

The keys for this team’s success this year hinge on Rashard Lewis becoming tougher defensively and being more consistent offensively, Hedo maintaining his presence as a scoring threat and Mickael Pietrus becoming the big time two guard the Magic so desperately need. Pietrus doesn’t need to become Kobe Bryant, but he needs to at least be more aggressive from that spot. His defense and his perimeter shooting are the reasons the Magic signed him, but his athleticism is what can make this team a power in the East. 

The bench also needs to step up. Reddick, Bogans and company have looked below average so far and that’s not going to get it done. Bogans finally had a decent game off the bench last night with 13 pt/5 rb, yet had struggled before that. With Pietrus developing, Nelson and Lewis’ inconsistency and Howard being the defensive focus of other teams, Bogans/Anthony Johnson/Reddick need to give this team points off the bench. I believe these are just early season transgressions and think Bogans and Johnson will contribute as expected, Reddick I’ve always doubted, so we’ll just wait and see.

The new SIMS wheels have the same grippy awesomeness as before but are now made using better quality polyurethane, meaning they’re going to last longer. I’m well chuffed!!!

I’ve finally replaced my Bauers. My Supreme’s with new SIMS wheels are my new love.

I seem to have hit a nerve with my recent rant on BJ Upton. I find this funny because I rip everyone and people only seem to care about a select few when I do. That makes me laugh. Anyway, the biggest problem I have with Upton, isn’t Upton. You follow? As I pointed out before, Upton is a new wave athlete like pretty much everyone else and it’s got to be difficult for someone like Joe Maddon, who’s been around the game for so long, to deal with these guys.

Let’s get it straight on BJ Upton.

There still has to be an accountability factor involved with everything you preach. To Maddon and Upton’s credit, there has been a benching and public discussion of what I bitched about before and it was handled well by both of them. I give credit to both of them for this. What I have a problem with now is the defense being brought up about Upton and his play. Maddon obviously saw it and finally did something, so my bitching wasn’t unforeseen. I have read some stuff from some other sites that point out Upton’s OBP and his K’s going down and what not, but that is pointing out the problem more than defending him.

BJ Upton

Again, the problem is with Upton’s attitude and the management of his performance, not his actual performance. First, if you’re going to rip guys like Aki for not running balls out, you have to do it to Upton too. Props Joe Maddon, you finally did it. Now, if a guy is going to have a high OBP, lots of stolen bases and a seeming unwillingness to swing with runners on base, should he be batting third?

 No, how bout leadoff? Upton is our best LEADOFF hitter and is batting second now (after batting third most of the year) and it took way too long for a change to be made. I piss people off for ripping guys and being too negative, but I’m trying to see things in the big picture. Isn’t the goal to put guys in the best position possible for them to succeed? They are STILL winning in spite of this. Let me stay on Upton now. Upton has the talent to be one of the best players in the game and this is what makes me so upset. Let’s try to compare like this.

I like Longoria because he’s trying to maximize his talent. He strikes out too much and can look like a little leaguer at the plate sometimes, but he’s playing the game to his strength. Upton isn’t. We saw the type of power and run producing ability Upton has last year, yet he seems to worry more about getting on base more than driving in runs. Why? This is my biggest problem with him. I call him a punk because people I know that spend time around him say he is, beside the fact that he whines when an umpire calls strikes on him (which what makes me want to fight someone like Kevin Youklis).

I am frustrated because he hasn’t improved on what he did last year. He was counted on to be a run producing number three hitter and has evolved into a leadoff hitter (and isn’t batting leadoff Maddon!). Try to understand what I’m saying here within my endless thoughts being poured out, I don’t hate Upton, I hate that he’s not becoming what he should be. He should be evolving into someone like Hanley Ramirez and he’s not. Back to slurping down Captain Morgan now!

Galloway isn’t practicing, so what!

Galloway isn’t practicing, so what!

I’m finding it very humorous that there are reports every day about Joey Galloway and when he’ll be able to practice. This is when the football reports drive me crazy, people are so starved for football news that they report on a guy not being at practice when he really shouldn’t be. Does anyone really expect an older receiver who has had problems with his wheels to practice or play any significant time in these preseason games? This is a “track speed” receiver who is getting on in years and is the only real threat on the outside on this team. Not even Jon Gruden is dumb enough to risk hurting this guy too soon.

All this seems to be common sense to me yet not a day passes that I don’t see someone writing about Joey Galloway not practicing. If he did, I would worry. If he played in any preseason games I would worry. He might play a little in one of them just to get back on the field but I seriously don’t think this guy will practice or play until the season starts.

I also fully expect him to play in the regular season opener, regardless of any of the reports trying to create some drama. I liken this procedure to that of Walter Jones in Seattle. Every year he doesn’t seem to even report to camp until right before the start of the regular season. I think guys like Galloway, Brooks and even Ronde Barber should be on the same level. There is a such thing as seniority, tenure and taking care of the elderly. Can’t wait to read tomorrow’s headlines about Galloway still not at practice.

Back for good

You’ve heard this before, I know, but I’m back for good this time. This site has been a huge learning experience for me. So many people out there read all these blogs and think that it’s easy or mindless and they think to themselves, “I can do that”. Well I’ll be the first to tell you, you’re wrong. This is real work and it’s much harder than you would ever think. I started this site back in February of this year thinking I could cover all the sports I love and it wouldn’t be that hard. Oops! I love writing and

I still love all the sports and teams I intended to cover, but if you don’t have the daily time and energy to do this, you shouldn’t. I’ve gotten on here and run my mouth and it’s been fun to do, but I didn’t realize what a daily activity this is. I now have that much more respect for those who do this regularly (especially Cork Gaines from Rays Indexand Greg Auman from the USF Bulletin for the support they’ve given) and will never take it lightly again. I thought about shutting it down but, I received so much love in the emails (which was shocking since I don’t have a regular email link) I feltit necessary to keep going.

I have since reformatted the site to drop coverage of the Bulls, MMA and Boxing. This is not to say that I will not have anything to say on these subjects, but they will not be featured coverage any longer. As far as everything else goes, there will be consistent posts daily within the covered content. I will be putting together posts on all of the teams wrapping up briefly what I’ve missed and will keep up with them from this point on. Thanks to everyone for the support you have showed and please let me know what you think of all this, including the new layout in the comments of this post.
